E & T resting on the lawn after their 8 mile bike ( 2 hour) ride with daddy. They biked all the way to San Mateo bridge, around the bay shore bike trail & then back home through town. I think they will sleep well tonight ;-)
E took off her training wheels last Sunday afternoon & just biked down the street. She has been practicing all week so that she was up for the 8 mile bike ride today.
Peter stayed home with mommy and "helped" me bake Todd's birthday cake for his 40th birthday coming up this Friday. We made a flour less chocolate torte. With 2 sticks of butter, 7 eggs, and almost 2 pounds of chocolate no wonder it taste so good. Defiantly a cake you only eat once a year ;-) Peter helped open the butter sticks & helped mix. We only ended up with one egg smashed on the floor, not bad for cooking with a 2 year old.
Peter and his scooter! He loves to wear this helmet like T & E, it is way to big & only fits if he has a hoody sweater her on first.
