What a perfect summer!

Swimming in the lake after jumping off uncle Mike's boat.

Backyard fireworks, sparklers and a campfire with cousins. Summer does not get any better then all of those activities in one evening. Day light hours had been spent running in the sprinklers together. Of course the kids roasted hot dogs and marshmellows and collected all the fire flies they could find. After catching the flies in their hands the bugs mostly got injured, so the kids opened a hospital for hurt bugs to rest in. Acadia would blow air on them to make them feel better.

9pm at night. A sleepy mommy and baby watching the backyard fireworks. Bryn's favorite aspect of the backyard is the baby swing. She will stand in the house, push her face against the glass door panal, point to the swing and scream to let everyone know she wants to go swing. Also loves to swim the backyard kiddie pool, it does not matter how many times she slips and goes under the water she wants to go right back in and walk around all by herself.

Showing off her fire fly catch. There are no fire flies at home, so this is an activity they look forward to all year. E is sporting jewelry she crafted herself.

Feeling all better these days T enjoyed boating. T also got to ride on the lawn mower yesterday with Uncle Brian while he cut the grass.  Loves rides in Pop pop's old cars and will volenteer to go on any outing if there is a fast car ride with grandpa involved.

The bug hospital head nurse.

P so excited to hold on to burning fire. Shocking that he did not burn himself.

Sparklers. We had to stop this activity after a few minutes as the sparklers would break then fall and light the grass on fire.

P still enjoys the kiddie pool thankgoodness and found great fun in the fountains.  Yes, he is pouring water down his pants. ;-)

The town pool.  B celebrated turning 17 months in CT. She mostly wants to play with all the toys at the pool, forget the water.  With the weather up in the 90's we have spent lots of time in the water. Thanks to all his swimming lessons in the winter T can enjoy the diving board this year with out a vest on and he loves that.

Uncle Ben blowing lip bubbles with Bryn, Bryn found it really funny. Ben didn't seem to find as much to laugh about ;-)

Cutting the grass with uncle Brian, what a treat even though it was 93 degrees. We stopped for lots of water with ice.
