Balloons in NYC

Since we are moving we deciced to go and see the balloons being blown up for the ThanksGiving day parade in NYC. It was far more crowded then I could ever have imagined. It was body to body at some points, especially on the subways. We left at 2:3o & did not get to the balloons until about 5pm. Thankgoodness grandma offered to watch Peter he would have been furious with all that underground travel.

THis is the kids on the train. This was Britta's & Acadia's first train ride. Britta was thrilled! They ate snacks & chatted. This was one of the only times we actually had seats, mostly we were standing in tightly packed cars.

Sarah was able to join us and was super helpful keeping track of the kids. We were always counting heads to make sure we didn't lose any child.

It was so nice being with my sisters.
