The Port Jefferson Ferry carried us from Bridgeport Ct over the sound to Port Jefferson. It was a beautiful ride.
The joke is that this ferry ride was my summer cruse. The Sound is almost like the white sand beaches of the Islands right? All I needed was a beach chair & a drink with a little umbrella in it ;-)
The town of Port Jeff is darling. We walked along the boardwalk. Thomas enjoyed the walk and kept repeating "I jump in water".
Elsa loved the lobster tank at the restaurant that we stopped in for lunch. She spent a half hour watching them. She even got to pet one. She wanted to eat one- but after tasting a bite of Grandma's lobster salad decided she didn't like it. She did enjoy Grandma's drink.
