Blessing Peter

We are so excited to have Todd's parents in town for the blessing of baby Peter. They arrived Friday night. On Saturday we took them to NYC Botanical Gardens. I can not believe I have never been there before! It was GORGEOUS!! We only saw a fraction of the park, as we had 3 kids. Plus Todd's mother twisted her ankle that morning and had to be pushed around in a wheel chair. But she was a trooper!

On Sunday Peter was given a name & blessing. It was extra special as his Uncle Ben was able to join the group. So he had all 4 uncles & both Grandfathers surrounding him. We then had a family party at the Saunders home- all 8 grandkids ran around together (except Peter of course) and had a swell time on the swing set, trampoline & in the playroom.

Of course we were super crazy Sunday morning and I never got pictures of Peter in his white get up. Sorry baby. I will have to dress him up again next Sunday and take pictures. No one will ever know it's not the real thing right ;-)

We sure love having Todd's parents in town. Elsa LOVES her grandparents. Nana is a magical story teller, and gives great baby massages which Peter will sorely miss. Pop pop loves to take the kids to the park and pushes them on the swing for as long as they want!
