Todd had to work today so after an exciting soccer game for Thomas we headed over to the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield CA. Elsa has been asking to go for years. The kids have been working to save money for the trip. It took a full hour and 10 minutes to get there and over 2 hours to get back home in Saturday afternoon traffic. So the traveling was horrible but the kids loved the experience.
Waiting in line for the factory tour. Since it was Saturday the machines were not on but we still saw millions of beans on the factory floor.
The kids at the sample bar. They tried the sweet ones first & then moved on to the gross flavors.
Thomas tasting a "barf and snot" flavored jelly beans.
Bryn was in heaven with all the free flowing candy. She was too young to enjoy the factory tour but they passed out candy along the tour and that kept her going.
After the tour we stopped at Ikea for a late lunch. The kids love those meatballs.
