Book Worm

I am often at the library picking out or picking up books for our reader ;-) It is so exciting to see her fall in deep LOVE with books. I love picking out books that broaden her thinking & open new ideas.  She loves her half hour reading time at night before bed and will often get so involved in the story she begs for extra time to finish ;-)

* has just finished and LOVED the Katie Kazoo books
* joke and riddle books are a huge fave.
* reads with feeling & makes up character voices when reading aloud

to her brothers.
* is rediscovering the various fairy book series that are out there.
* tried to read a book while eating breakfast this morning.
* shares her favorites with her friends so they can act out various parts together. Yesterday she came home from school and dressed up like a gymnastics fairy from the cover of a book she had just finished.  Then went outside to practice her cartwheel. LOVE this girl!
