Notice the beautiful ear band Elsa is sporting. Elsa lost half her eardrum by poking a Q-tip in her ear last fall. Yesterday she endured a 3 hour surgery to graft a piece of skin from behind her ear onto what was left of her existing ear drum.
This morning she tore off all her head wrapping, gaze, and cotton balls (which was suppose to be on for 3 days) and told me "my ear is all better now". Unfortunately she is in for a 6 week recovery period. She is already begging to take a bath, sorry baby no water for a week!
